There is no magic weight-loss pill, seulpempnt, fad diet, or juice. The ONLY way to lose weight is to consume less calories than you burn. Brad Pitt didn’t get cut for Fight Club by drinking green tea, and you won’t either.Walk for 30 minutes every day, including weekends, Mondays, and Fridays. Do at least 30 minutes of weight training each week. Do 60 minutes of additional, higher intensity cardio each week.Cut back on the foods you eat with high fat and high sugar content. Eat only single servings (read the label) with less than 3 grams trans fat and 3 grams sugars. Get rid of anything in your diet that is non-nourishing: mayonnaise and other condiments, salt, vinegar, white flour products and canned foods.Eat breakfast, and eat five small meals per day instead of three big meals. Don’t starve yourself during the day, but if you don't wake up famished, then you ate too much the day before. Stop eating at least two hours before you go to bed.Get 6 to 8 hours of sleep every night. Turn off the TV and the computer. Sleep is vitally important.Don't consume alcohol—alcohol is nothing more than empty calories with no nutritional value. Some people will argue that alcohol has some health benefits when consumed in moderation—I’m not debating that—but we’re talking about weight loss here. Lay off the booze if you want to lose the fat.Drink lots of water, then drink more. Not tea, not Gatorade, not milk. Water. If your urine isn’t almost clear, you need to drink more water.Good luck.

Aim for 2 lbs a week at most for weight loss is good. The numebr on the scale is different for everyone. Especially if you carry a lot of muscle, 140 would be fine.Diet will help you take off the weight, and exercise helps keep it off. I dont think there are any foods to avoid, just eat them in moderation. Keep a food journal for a few days, writing down ALL that you eat and drink, and use an online site to calculate the calories, and breakdown of food. I like fitday.com, and there are many other sites out there too. Use your food journal to figure out when and why you eat, what you binge on, in general what your bad eating habits are and how to change them.Cardio 2-3 times a week, try doing interval training. It takes less time, but is really hard work. Do whatever you like, if you like doing it, you will keep on with it. Are there any sports you would join?Weight lift 2-3 times a week too, and make sure you are eating enough protein to build muscle (in your case i would say at least 160 grams daily). Muscle weighs more than fat, but muscle burns a lot of fat. If you are already muscular make it work for you! Too many women underestimate the benefits of weight training, and mistakenly think they will wind up looking like Hulk Hogan.Make your goal being healthy, not being skinny. There are plenty of slim people out there that are not healthy even if they look it at first glance. And you didnt gain the weight over-night, dont expect to lose it that fast.Good for you for wanting a change. I hope you will be an inspiration to those women in your family who may need a healthy example.

Here is what you need to do, if you are serious about lonisg weight and keeping it off. Eat 6 small meals a day about every 4 hours. Here what that will do for you, your metabolism will increase (i.e. Loose weight) and you will have more engry. If you go on a diet and eat less, your metabolism will slow down and store to fat. That is why diets dont work. Only the size of your fist, carbs (examples:baked potato, pasta, oatmeal, beans, corn, melon, apples, fat free yogurt, whole wheat breads)in one and protien (examples:chicken breast, swordfish, shrimp, turkey breast) in the other. You can also eat vegetables and salads with any meal, they dont have none or little fat). 30min cardo exercise every day. Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming, running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions, pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross county skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension)(YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull, leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. Sunday eat anything you want and dont exercising, you do this on sunday so your body doesnt go into starvation mode. YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF. If you stilck with this you will have a great body. also drink aleast 8oz of water daily! Stay away from Mcdonals, Wendys, ect because there is nothing good for you on the menu's even the salads are bad (beaon bits, cheeze, dressing, ect) Good Luck

I would guess that the best thing to do is the following:MOST imratpont is to take up a plan of exercise that you enjoy and make it a habit. And make it something you are going to do for the long haul not just until August. This means something that makes you sweat but doesn't feel like you're killing yourself. You should come away from working out feeling good not overworked. This way, you'll do it forever and once it becomes a habit, it will be hard NOT to go and work out.1. Aerobic exercises of some type I'd say around 30 minutes to the point where you're working and sweating but not killing yourself. I'd start out with a few times a week maybe twice. Then try to work up to 3 times then maybe 4. If you really enjoy it than you might try 5 days a week but I personally wouldn't do more than that. Everybody's different. I like to exersise no more than 3 times a week.2. Lift weights. Just for toning. Don't kill yourself lifting high amounts of weight. Just do it for toning. If you tone up, you'll burn more calories during your everyday activities including sleeping. I have found that I've gotten way more muscle tone in far less time by using FREE weights vs. machine type weights.3. Don't try to lose weight for an event. Try to attain and maintain a realistic body look and feel for the rest of your life. And take it slowly. Don't rush it. 4. Don't deprive yourself of ANY food. Slowly train yourself to eat what you want in moderation. This too can become a habit and a way of life that will be as much a part of you as is brushing your teeth. If you go to a birthday party, HAVE a small peice of cake. This alone won't ruin your plans to lose pounds. It's what you eat in an overall day which adds up to weeks and months that makes a person lose or gain pounds.Good luck. Try to focus on the fun of the exercise and not dropping the pounds.

Throughout this great pattern of things you'll get a B- for hard work. Where exactly you confused me ended up being in all the particulars. You know, it is said, the devil is in the details... And that couldn't be more true here. Having said that, permit me inform you precisely what did work. The writing is actually rather convincing and this is probably why I am making the effort to opine. I do not make it a regular habit of doing that. Next, despite the fact that I can certainly notice a leaps in reasoning you make, I am not sure of exactly how you seem to unite your details which in turn produce the actual conclusion. For the moment I shall subscribe to your issue but wish in the near future you connect the dots better.
